Today’s post for Concert Week goes to an Indie Rock Band based in New York City and Philadelphia, The Walkmen. I went to their concert in Philadelphia with only knowing one song of theirs and ended up falling in love with all of their songs. The lead singer, Hamilton Leithauser, has a very vintage sound to his voice. It’s a voice that after you hear it once, you will never forget who that voice belongs to. And may I say the drummer, Matt Barrick, may be the best drummer I have ever seen.

I decided to post one of my favorite songs and one of the first songs I have ever heard from them.

If you guys ever get a chance to check them out in concert, please do. I consider their live music better than the recorded music. They’re just that good.
